Windhaven Pediatrics - Insurance

We are preferred providers for numerous insurance carriers and will file your visit for you if we are contracted with your insurance. For further insurance and financial information, please contact our billing department.

Windhaven Pediatrics is committed to providing you with the highest quality of care and medical services. In doing so, Windhaven Pediatrics feels it is very important for you to be aware of your insurance benefits to help assist you in understanding the insurance process and financial responsibilities at our office.

Windhaven Pediatrics policy is that all copays, deductibles and non-covered services are due at the time of service.

Windhaven Pediatrics files insurance claims for all health plans we participate with. We will not file secondary claims. Regardless of court orders, the parent/guardian who is present for the visit is responsible for satisfying the copay and/or deductible at the time of service.

Newborns: Upon the birth of your child, you must contact your employer and/or health plan to add the dependent to your policy. This does not happen automatically. Each insurance plan has a specified timeframe for this but most plans require notification within 30 days from the date of birth. Failure to add the dependent, could result in a lapse of coverage, meaning all services provided during lapse time are the responsibility of the parent. Please contact your health plan with any questions.
